Design of a redundant and diverse conduit/vault system for local exchange carriers into the 2-story
facility. This building features 24” thick PT walls and several isolation rooms for the preservation of state
and historical documents. This architectural feature forced a comprehensive design of wireless,
voice, data, and audiovisual technologies. This facility is also equipped with a data center
environment established as the Disaster Recovery Site for the State Legislature.

Technology Budget $540K - Actual $337K.

Honeywell Data Center East - Honeywell Corporation, Maryland - Completion 2007

Design of Phase One of the new Data Center for Honeywell’s World Wide Operations. Phase one
consisted of a 15,000 square foot Data Center floor with over 450-cabinets, 200-Relay Racks and more
then 1-mile of cable tray to support fiber & copper connectivity. The design recommendations specific
to cabinets and power solutions saved the project substantial monies that allowed for a greater density
of deployment in the same square footage. The Data Center environments required more than
40,000 fiber connection in support of Cisco Switches that supported Application Servers, Web Internal & External Servers, Management Servers, SAN’s, and multiple Firewall Security Solutions.
